Christmas at Mistletoe Ridge

Deals require negotiations, but for Cole Stevens, this could be the riskiest deal of his lifetime. Holland Jenkins has been disappointed so often that she questions her purpose and her talent as an artist. The cabins she helps lease for her family is the one constant in her life. Birch Falls' small-town peppermint festival is quickly approaching. As Holland is preparing ornaments for her booth, she's in search of inspiration, even if she won't admit it.

Cole has a deal to close, and after a little unexpected change in route, he decides to rent a cabin at Mistletoe Ridge. Cole finds himself falling for the charming small town, and also falling for Holland, which wasn't part of the plan.

Holland doesn't know about her grandparents' plans to sell Mistletoe Ridge, and although they think they are doing it for the right reasons, keeping it a secret has all involved reconsidering.

Perhaps, a dash of ginger, a sprinkle of sugar, and a little magic can make their Christmas wishes come true.

The Cameo Clue

For Katherine Kale, who has recently returned to the United States after teaching overseas for years, Maple Creek, Michigan, is the perfect American town and the elegant blue Victorian on Walnut Street is the house of her dreams. When she is nearly poisoned at the annual Apple Fair, as another woman dies, Katherine suspects that Maple Creek may not be the paradise it seemed at first acquaintance and determines to find out who would lace a caramel apple with deadly poison.

Her first clue, unearthed while planting chrysanthemums in her back yard, is an antique cameo. Damaged but still beautiful, the cameo is a haunting clue from the past that may lead her to the cruel killer behind the latest murder in Maple Creek and explain a mysterious disappearance from long ago.

Dorothy Bodoin’s, The Cameo Clue, is an intriguing mystery that invites the listener to pull an armchair near a cozy fire and while away the time in the crisp air of a Michigan fall with our intrepid sleuth as she tracks a clever killer whose candy confections can kill. What more could you ask for?

My Secret Star

Everyone in the world seems to be crazy for Liam Hanks, a teenage boy with a swoony singing voice that melts everyone's hearts. Me? I could do with a little less Liam.

Too bad Dad (who happens to be our city mayor) had to choose Liam as this year's Fourth of July concert celebrity. Even worse? I'm the one in charge of making sure Liam stays out of the news.

The question is, can I get past his celebrity status and learn to like the guy inside, or is my last summer at home going to be destroyed by America's heartthrob?
